ROYAL ENFIELD INTERCEPTOR 650

Welcome to the new member or we can say twins in the Royal Enfield Family in 2018, The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT 650 , You could expect the availability in the showrooms latter half of this year in the month of November (tentative) , If you want to know what is the Royal Enfield 2018 new model price then you could expect the price of the machine from Rs 3,80,000 (Ex-showroom) Price onwards, in India.
The most important aspect of the Interceptor 650 Twin for the Indian market will be meeting the price and value expectation of the buyers, Royal Enfield is going up against some really entrenched names in the middleweight segment with the launch of the 650s, and will have to offer the customer an irresistible value proposition.
We cannot deny that the Interceptor looks great, with its design harking back to the original Interceptor made a few decades ago, the design is generic Brit classic bike, with no real distinguishing features. It will be available in silver or orange, with a two-tone scarlet/black as well. As always, there will be many accessories that can be added to the motorcycle. It is scheduled for a global launch this year and an Indian launch will follow after.
The first twin-cylinder engine from Royal Enfield sports a parallel twin configuration with a 270-degree firing order. It generates 47bhp and 52Nm at 7100rpm and 4000rpm respectively. There is no liquid cooling but the oil does have a radiator, and fuel delivery is via a Bosch injection system. The company was aiming for products that were a step up from its current range but yet retained the easygoing character that defines a Royal Enfield, and therefore the power figure, that seems a little underwhelming for the configuration and displacement. An inclusion of a six-speed gearbox. The braking system has single discs front and rear, and ABS will be standard.

ROYAL ENFIELD CONTINENTAL GT 650

An Introduction to the newborn Cafe Racer by the Royal Enfield in 2018 is the Royal Enfield Continental GT, The Continental GT 650 Twin is the café racer twin to the Interceptor 650. It takes the concept of the Continental GT 535 two steps ahead, with better performance. As always, the accessories list will be an impressive one. The café racer segment in India is a nascent one, but the Continental GT 650 has the biggest chance of giving it a boost – the only catch is that it needs to deliver on the value front. Royal Enfield has a world of opportunity available to them in the middleweight segment, all they need to do is work the same magic they did with the Classic 350.
