Chandrashila Trek

The trek starts at Chopta which is a village in Uttarakhand and ends at Chandrashila Peak.

Trek Altitude: 4,000 meters.

Best Time to visit: April to June, Avoid trekking in rainy season due to slippery and dangerous trail & during winters. Trek routes may be closed by the government due to snowfall.

For those who don’t know “Valley of Flower’s” is a National Park in North Chamoli in the state of Uttarakhand. This place was first discovered by Frank S. Smythe in 1931 when he lost his way while returning from an expedition of Mt. Kamet.

You will find the experience of this trek quite different from other trekking destinations. It will be more pleasant and refreshing trek as you will find more of meadows, vegetation and blooming flowers on the way.

Valley of Flowers

This Trek starts from Govind Ghat and ends at Ghangaria and from Ghangaria you could trek 4-5 Km inside the Valley of Flower forest and reach its end the further area is closed by forest preservation authorities.

This is an absolutely breathtaking trek, you will embrace the scenic views and also appreciate nature’s art while you traverse the trail.

Best Time to Visit Valley of Flowers: Every year between Mid-July to Mid-August is the best time to visit valley of flowers and during spring season you will find this place as a blossom of heaven.


In the spiritual grounds of Himachal Pradesh along the midst of Parvati Valley, you will find your pristine beauty on the Kheerganga Trek.

Kheergange Trek is one of the best trekking places in India as It is known for its spectacular views and Hot Water Spring which helps visitors relax after a tiring yet satisfying trek.

Kheerganga trek is popular among youth as well as amateurs because of multiple trail option it hosts.

Ideally, there are a total of 3 route options to reach Kheerganga, first is the Natkhan Village Route (13 Km) which is difficult to climb, has less of trees and vegetation (ideal for photography) and easier to descend.

The second route is through the Kalga village (15 Km) where you literally walk through a forest, it is comparatively easy to climb but difficult to descend

Triund Trek

If you want better scenic views, take this route but don’t forget to take a guide or someone familiar with the route as there are chances of you getting lost on your own.

The third route is through a village called Tosh and it connects midway to Natkhan village.

No matter what route you take you will surely feel invigorating upon visiting this place.

Trek Location: Kasol, Himachal Pradesh.

Trek Distance (One Side): 15 – 17 Km.

Difficulty Level: Moderate

Trek Altitude: 2,960 meters.

Best Time to Visit Kheerganga, Kasol: 

Summers: April to June, 

Monsoons: Avoid trekking in rainy season due to slippery and dangerous trail. 

Winters: Trek is only accessible until snowfall covers the trail hence shutting it down. Accessible mostly in the months of October – December.

If you are a first-timer (hiker/trekker) you won’t be having much difficulty on these trails.
